How Damage Works in Sniper Arena
Damage in Sniper Arena is calculated server-side using a multi-stage formula:
- Base damage — your weapon's
base_dmg stat (e.g., TRAC300 HC = 1200, max upgraded to 16,000)
- Hit zone multiplier — head/torso/limb scaling. Verified values: high region = 0.7×, low region = 0.35× (likely body region scaling)
- Headshot bonus — additional multiplier for head hits
- Armor mitigation — target's armor reduces damage via a curve (the game uses a dual armor system:
armor + armorTech)
- Distance falloff — server-applied; exact curve not externally visible
Verified constant: Every player spawns with exactly 100 HP. This is hardcoded in the game (verified in-game). One-shot kills require landing damage ≥ 100 in a single hit after all multipliers apply.
Verified Hit Zones
Verified Hit Zones
| Zone | Hit Frequency | Multiplier (verified) |
| Head | ~13.4% | 1.0× (full damage) |
| Body | ~24.9% | ~0.7× (verified — likely torso) |
| Arms / Legs / Limbs | ~62% | ~0.35× (verified — likely limb) |

How to Use the Damage Calculator
- Select your weapon (TRAC300 HC, TAC50 PLAT, etc.)
- Enter the distance to target
- Choose the hit zone (head, body, limb)
- Set the target armor level (Hardcore Dragon, Platinum Dragon, etc.)
- The calculator returns:
- Final damage dealt
- HP remaining on target
- One-shot kill status (yes/no)
- Hit zone breakdown
- Armor mitigation visualization
Damage Tips for Competitive Play
- Always aim for headshots. 1.0× multiplier vs 0.7× for body — that's a 43% damage advantage.
- Higher-tier weapons aren't more damaging at max upgrade. All modern sniper rifles cap at the same damage values; what differs is RP multiplier.
- Hardcore Dragon helmet has 90% head damage reduction. Targets with Hardcore Dragon are extremely tanky to headshots — body shots may be more reliable.
- Distance matters less than you'd think. Falloff exists but isn't catastrophic at typical engagement ranges.
- Armor stacks with armorTech. The dual-armor system means a fully-upgraded helmet has both raw armor AND tech-based mitigation.
Common Damage Mistakes
- Assuming damage scales with weapon multiplier. RP multiplier doesn't affect damage. TRAC300 HC and TAC50 Gold deal the same damage at max upgrade — they just earn different RP.
- Ignoring helmet armor. Players with Hardcore Dragon are nearly headshot-resistant due to 90% reduction.
- Not accounting for distance. Some falloff exists; aim center-mass at long range to ensure hit registration.
- Missing the dual-armor system. Both armor and armorTech stats matter; checking only one underestimates target durability.
FAQ
What's the maximum damage in Sniper Arena?
The TRAC300 HC's max-upgraded damage is 16,000 — but actual hit damage depends on hit zone, armor, and distance. Most one-shot kills land in the 200-2000 range after all multipliers.
How is HP regenerated?
The game has a Heal mechanic and a max HP of 100. HP regenerates between matches automatically. Within a match, certain spheres (REGENERATION) provide health regen procs.
Does the damage calculator account for headshot bonuses?
Yes — the calculator applies the verified hit zone multipliers (head 1.0× / body 0.7× / limb 0.35×) and any headshot RP bonus.
Does distance affect damage?
Distance falloff exists in the server-side damage formula but isn't dramatic. The bigger factors are hit zone and armor.
