Not every sphere reaches Ultima. If you're removing Legendary spheres hoping to find an Ultima replacement — stop. It doesn't exist for most of them. Here's the complete verified breakdown.
Only 35 out of 88 spheres have an Ultima tier. The other 53 — including meta-critical spheres like Untouchable, Stalking, Thunderstorm, and Lightning Rod — are permanently capped at Legendary. There is no Ultima version. There never will be unless the developers add one in a future update.
If you removed a maxed Legendary sphere looking for its Ultima replacement, you removed a sphere that was already at maximum power. Put it back.
Every sphere exists at specific rarity tiers defined by the game. Most go from Base → Simple → Uncommon → Rare → Epic → Legendary (6 tiers, 7 stages each = 42 possible upgrades). Only 35 selected spheres get a 7th tier: Ultima (7 more stages = 49 total). The game decides which spheres get Ultima — you can't force it.
The pattern is clear: Ultima overwhelmingly goes to RP Boost spheres (30 out of 35). Combat, Defense, Drone, Economy, Stealth, and Tournament categories are almost entirely Legendary-capped. This is intentional game balance — letting defensive spheres go to Ultima would break PvP.
Your optimal loadout is a calculated mix: Ultima RP boosters on every slot that allows it (weapon, helmet, vest, glasses, gloves, armor, boots, computer) + Legendary combat/defense spheres in the remaining slots. This gives you maximum RP gain with the best available combat advantage. No player in the game can do better than this — it's the ceiling.
These are the ONLY spheres with an Ultima tier. If a sphere isn't on this list, its Legendary version is already maxed out.

These spheres are permanently maxed at Legendary. No Ultima version exists. Removing these to search for an Ultima replacement is wasting resources — put them back and max them out.

Since you need both Legendary AND Ultima, here's how to fill your equipment slots for maximum advantage:
RP Boost spheres: Flawless (51%), Anniversary (50%), Raise (33%), Improver (26%), Champion (32%), Unity (31%), Harmony of Spheres (26%), and 23 more. Put these on every slot that isn't needed for combat/defense. Vest, glasses, gloves, armor, boots, computer = pure Ultima RP stacking.
The meta defensive/combat core: Untouchable, Stalking, Heat Trap PRO (has Ultima), Thunderstorm, Lightning Rod, Cheat Death, Fog of War, Sabotage. These are already at max power at Legendary. Don't remove them looking for Ultima — it doesn't exist.
Weapon (8 slots): 2-3 Legendary combat (Thunderstorm, King of Hill) + 5-6 Ultima RP boosters
Helmet (8 slots): 2-3 Legendary defense (Untouchable, Stalking) + 5-6 Ultima RP boosters
Vest / Glasses / Gloves / Armor / Boots / Computer (10 slots each): ALL Ultima RP boosters — these 60 slots are pure RP farm territory. 30 Ultima RP spheres fill them perfectly.
Ultima is a bonus tier available for 35 of 88 spheres. It's NOT a new system that replaces Legendary. Both coexist permanently.
Unless that specific sphere appears on the 35-sphere Ultima list above, its Legendary version IS the best version that exists.
Flawless goes from 50% (Legendary max) to 51% (Ultima max). That's a +1 percentage point gain. Valuable when stacked across 60+ slots, but not a game-changer per individual sphere.
Max RP players run: Ultima RP boosters everywhere possible + Legendary combat/defense where Ultima doesn't exist. That's the ceiling. Nobody can do better.
